On Religion and Relationship
RELIGION Questioning vs. Bullying - Read while being willing to "listen," then CONSIDER with your own reasoning, not someone else telling you what to believe.
BE AWARE AND LEARN REASONING TOOLS:
Why not question everything? Questioning is often how we get to the truth, not something that should be shamed as if people who question versus obeying are stupid.

People need to realize that there is more than one issue involved here! Stop and consider once again - use your own reasoning, not a spiel someone else may have given you or pushed on you.
CONSIDER:
• each person has the right to choose what they want to believe. Freedom. This includes their religion or not associating with religion at all. No one should or can force you in what to believe or punish you in reference to that.

• You can choose your own denomination and/or church to attend.

• People have the freedom of speech to tell you what they know, and you have the freedom to accept what they say or not accept it. They cannot force you to agree with them.

(keep in mind that this particular page is in reference to religion, not the laws of the road or financial laws or other laws on the books. So, if a police officer pulls you over and says he believes you were speeding, you do not have the right to disagree with him and go your own way). Hehehe. BE REASONABLE. :-)

• Be aware that there are people who have moved to the United States of America (and some other countries) in order to not just proselytize (win others over to their beliefs and practices), but to force you to believe as they do or be punished for not doing so. ONCE AGAIN, do your research! Don't just agree or disagree with this statement. Your life depends on it.
• God does not send anyone to hell or eternal punishment. He gives each person a way to avoid this; i.e. hell is the default in this life due to our sin nature. You get to choose the default or the way out. ONCE AGAIN, don't just take my word for it. Do your research! Your life depends on it. If you'd like some references, you can find them at the bottom of this page.
I recently heard the quote that "the church needs to stop being a cruise ship and return to being a battleship." We need to stand!
• in love
• in compassion
• in faith
• in righteousness and justice
• in understanding and wisdom
• in encouragement and more
By standing
》 In the full armor of God
》 in holy boldness
》 on a firm unshifting foundation
》 in peaceful resistance
I look forward to the church clearing up much of the confusion wrought in the past 5 years (2020-2025) above by teaching the people:
• how to tell others about Jesus and how they can accept the benefits of what Christ paid for. Not just a lesson, but a workshop and training for this (and maybe a challenge for each person to help just one other person into the kingdom this year - JUST ONE or more of they like, but a challenge for just one and discipling that one).
• about the importance of the church to all of society for both the here and now as well as their future in eternity. BOTH important since the here and now will determine their eternity.
• about how to determine when something is important to stand up for, in an "obey God vs. obey men" issue and why. Hint: the church assembling together should never again be a confusing issue. Preaching in public should never be a confusing issue. Having bible studies in your own home should never be a confusing issue. (We are adults and know how to stay home when sick or what to do when visiting the sick, etc.)
• our constitution and bill of rights and how their foundation is the bible, and therefore important for them to stand up for . . . respectfully and peacefully and in kindness, but still firm and to stand!
• how to hear from God about what they need to take action on and how. Whew! A big order but essential.
• Why some in the church are called to step up and take positions of leadership in society and how the rest of the church can support them in this.
• Basic education. Yes, we should consider taking back education from the public sector and government. The people do not need government approval for what is necessary to teach our children.
- The time is over for thinking we can take God and the bible into public schools to change them.
- The time is over for sending our children to colleges and universities where they will often be indoctrinated into lies and faulty information that will weaken them and society as a whole. I know "christian" families whose children have been brainwashed in college or university.
- We must prepare our teenagers for how to stand and defend their minds, their hearts, their spirits, and even their physical bodies against what the world will throw at them. Boot camp with spiritual weapons and medical weapons, and financial weapons, and mental weapons, and physical weapons. Yes, God told his people about all of these tools, not just the ones we teach today.
• what we might expect in the next 10 years (or less) and how to stand together and not be deceived by lies or confusion that will divide us on issues like we've faced through recent decades.
