In our world, love is a complex collection of emotions and impulses. It encapsulates many emotions, both positive and negative, and is unique to each person and each instance of love. Love can be confusing in that some people think love can come and go, changing as people change, fleeting like any emotion. The world says love is an emotion, not a relationship status.
Love is a person - God
For our purposes in the whole person being healthy we have chosen to perceive love as God defines it. FIRST, "God is Love!" He is love and He exhibits true love toward us. This is not a fleeting emotion, but a staid help at any time.
Biblical love is defined as a selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional commitment to the well-being of others, rooted in the very nature of God. It is not as some have been taught - romantic feelings. Scripture presents it as an active choice that prioritizes another’s interests above one’s own, regardless of their response.
SECOND, God has specified that He is our father! What?! A father who takes care of his children and raises them to be the best they can be, what he purposed for each one. If you had a negative example for a dad or even a missing dad, realizing that God wants to be your dad will definitely shift your whole being into wholeness, health, courage, peace, and yes, love.
The Bible distinguishes between several specific types of love through its original Hebrew and Greek languages:
-
Agape (Charity): The highest form of love, representing divine, unconditional goodwill and self-sacrifice. It is the love God has for humanity (John 3:16) and the standard for how believers are to love one another.
-
Philia: Brotherly love or deep friendship, characterized by mutual affection, loyalty, and shared values (one example is David and Jonathan).
-
Eros: Romantic or passionate love, celebrated in Scripture within the context of marriage (Song of Solomon).
-
Storge: Natural familial affection, such as the bond between parents and children.
-
Hesed: Often translated as "steadfast love" or "lovingkindness," this Hebrew term describes God’s loyal, covenantal love that endures despite human failure.
-
The most practical definition is found in 1 Corinthians 13, where love is described as patient, kind, humble, and enduring. It is not envious, boastful, or self-seeking, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Ultimately, biblical love is demonstrated through action and obedience rather than words alone, culminating in the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ laying down his life for others. Thinking of it as a quality versus an emotion, may help you.
This will shift your whole being into a different perception and emotional climate. Yes! When you change your perception and understanding of love, it will make a neuro-connection with the rest of you and shift things! Crazy but true. It can even change our physical body making our whole being better or worse depending on what we are choosing to do and say in relation to this.

Guard your Heart, Renew your Mind, Take Down Strongholds
Love is one of seven vital habits we do well to learn and truly make a habit . . . God's way versus the world's way of being flipped this way and that, being hurt and walking in fear or anger, or the mountain highs then valley lows - depression.
God's creation was woven into the science of our world and it works by default
Choosing to love as God loves will result in a healthy body, mind, heart, and soul.
Choosing to love merely as the world loves can often toss us around and confuse us and result in ill health and maladies.
You may ask, "but how do I do this? I'm trying to exhibit this, but can't seem to stick with it." This is where you can use the LifeRegeneration Jubilee Options App. to help you accomplish this with very little pain, hurt, confusion, or emotional upheaval. And it will help you to avoid just stuffing your emotions. So . . . open up the app and start down the road to healing and health in your whole being - spirit, soul (mind and heart), and body.
To ADD a Love Shift:
-
Use rounds of LRMT Tapping or use a small magnet, pulling it from the bottom of spine to top, or from the base of your neck over your head to the forehead, 3 or more times - intention and focus are prime here.
-
Remember we are adding the LOVE aspect (versus releasing or getting rid of it like a trapped emotion) and it will benefit us in multiple ways!
Prayer and laying on hands can take the place of this -
breathe deep (4:6 ratio) and relax
-
drink water
-
ask God to show you daily what true love consists of and ask Him to work it into you along with the purpose He created you for.
