Christians &
Tapping Into Life

In the past ten years I have had people ask me about what I do with LifeRegeneration.  Christians hear the words, "energy balancing," "tapping on meridians," and "kinesiology" and some become wary.  They have commented that this is strange and may not be Biblical, assuming that what they are familiar with is Biblical.  Many have settled for Western medicine and do not allow for holistic options since they equate holistic with middle eastern religion.  Western medicine uses surgery and drugs, neither of which are mentioned in the Bible as something we should seek out, and yet we do not equate these with other religions because we have grown up with this avenue of dealing with physical issues.

LRMT is merely working with neuroplasticity and neuro-linguistics, which are well-known areas in dealing with the body.  God shows us throughout scripture the importance of the Word and especially the SPOKEN WORD.  After all, He created this world with His spoken word.  At LifeRegeneration we will encourage you to build a habit of speaking out God's Word, standing on it, and acting on it.

On this page I will give you food for thought and encourage you to question your concepts of what is Biblical and what is not, while building up your belief in what God's Word says in relation to how you should live your life . . . including options for dealing with physical illness, emotional hurts, spiritual challenges, and heart issues.

So dive right in and you will find the Bible thrilling in what it directs us to do, exciting in what it invites us to attempt, and absolutely weird in how it instructs us to walk!  - Be aware that the first definition of weird in the dictionary is, "supernatural."  Christians are called to be a people set apart, a peculiar people, different than the world, and in fact weird.  Yes.

While reading the information below, I encourage you to compare it with scripture - there is an easy link right here where you can look at it in various translations and in all the languages of the world!  Enjoy this trip into a completely different Bible Study.

7 Primary - If You Believe

& Quick Simple Steps

First, I will just give a quick - very quick - outline of what we do with meridian tapping here at LifeRegeneration.  If you want details and examples of specific issues and how to deal with your own challenges, then read the pages on the LifeRegeneration website, download the free LRBT Manual on the Resources tab, then call us to schedule an hour for us to work with you.

There are four basic steps for doing meridian tapping and then a multitude of additional helps that your LifeRegeneration energy consultant has at their fingertips for helping people to discover the etiology of your challenge and breaking through any blocks that your many body systems may have in place.

The four steps are:

1. FOCUS on the issue at hand, putting aside all other thoughts, stressors, or distractions just for the moment.  Attach a feeling to it - whether emotional or physical - and rate that feeling.

2. TAP gently on the neuro points you have learned as you hold that focus with your mind and allow your heart to feel the emotions that are attached to what you are concentrating on.

3. BREATHE deeply (4:6 ratio of breathing in and then out is best) and in your mind's eye see your body releasing the energy you want to get rid of.

4. DRINK WATER and allow yourself to just be, then rate the intensity of what your are dealing with again.

Simple yes?  Well, the precursor to these steps is to choose an issue you want to deal with - whether that be a physical malady, a stress in your life, or a particular challenge you want resolved or dealt with.

You will be voicing what the issue is (to identify with it) and then rephrasing it to change your perception of it in your mind.

You can pray about it and you can choose to take various steps in looking at it - but you will recognize it, clarify it, and state the fact that you have this issue. . . . then you will move toward the Truth, which often is very different than facts.  What?!  Read and learn.

ONE last (or maybe first) step is realizing that you are the person ultimately responsible for your health.  Your doctors are merely there to try to help with information they gather and suggestions they give.  They are references, not the ultimate authority in your life.  You get to choose; do you choose health?

Take time to click on the main "Food for Thought" tab on the LifeRegeneration website and read that page.  It will help to begin moving your understanding from merely facts to seeing the Truth.

In looking at the Bible and what it says in relation to living our lives and what that entails, I have laid out seven of the main pillars.  There are others but I will deal with these seven since they seem to be foundational truths that the rest is built on.

I start here with the Bible rather than with LRMT, since I believe that the Bible is the ultimate authority; what passes through it and still applies can then be valuable tools for us to walk our walk.

FIRST, the overlying basis for the whole Word is LOVEGod is Love (as shown in First John as well as from Genesis to Revelation).  He first loved us and now we are able to love.

John 3:16-17  He loved and He gave

1st John   His love enables us to love others

Love is the basis for all that we do

At LifeRegeneration I stress that we must not define love by the world's standards and then apply this to God!  I repeat, WE MUST NOT DEFINE LOVE BY THE WORLD'S STANDARDS AND THEN APPLY THIS TO GOD!  There are some Christians (and non-Christians) who are doing this today and then acting in ways that are contrary to God's Word.  Ask me about this when you schedule a visit!

SECOND, is FAITH by which we are able to understand the concepts, grab hold of the promises and walk in the ways that God directs us.  It is amazing in that it literally moves things from the invisible/heavenly to the visible/world realm.

THIRD, is HEART, which we are instructed to guard and be aware of (versus stuffing or putting it on a shelf)!  It needs guarding and we will show you how to do this. It also can be deceitfully wicked and it will trump your mind (override what your mind knows to be true). The heart is very important to understand and God's Word will help us to do this and therefore get it in line with our spirit, mind, and body so we will function as God created us to.

FOURTH, is FORGIVENESS, which is often a prerequisite to healing both the mind and the body (See the book of James). We think we know what forgiveness is and yet many still are bound by stress, bitterness, anger, fear, and more because forgiveness has not been dealt with completely.

FIFTH, is GRATITUDE!  This can also be seen in thanksgiving and praise.  Many have gotten into the gratitude craze in the past few years, which is a good thing, however some while voicing or writing down their gratitude points, are missing it when they go right back to getting caught up in the world's negative perceptions, blaming, accusing, and lies.  Some also practice gratitude, but lay it on top of stuffing the issues in the heart instead of dealing with them.  Come learn about life-freeing gratitude!

SIXTH, is RENEWING YOUR MIND. This is vital - it allows us to see from a different perspective and thus get a bigger and often better picture from God's viewpoint.  Things become more clear and we can then make better choices and release the negatives in our life including even physical maladies!

SEVENTH, is TAKING DOWN STRONGHOLDS. This is what is needed in order to find the changes we want in life as well as become what our full purpose is in life.

Guard Your Heart vs. Stuffing Emotions . . . pssst, when God instructs us to act in a certain way, He's not saying to hide our emotions.

Putting on an act will NEVER replace the real man . . . or change reality . . . or renew the mind.

However, doing what God says will !  It will absolutely bend reality !

You can see in the quick overview above, that this is an unusual process for dealing with negatives in our lives.  Most of my clients are dealing with sickness, disease, and health situations - they want healing.  They want release from pain.  They want to live a full life with joy and fulfillment.

If this is an unusual process to you, it is only because you have not been taught this option and have not grown up seeing how it works.  The debate over Western Medicine and Eastern Medicine is covered at the bottom of this page, so it will be dealt with later, however here we are simply going to look at what the Bible says about dealing with the hard things in life, including sickness, unfairness, negative emotions, and challenges of various kinds.

First consider these scripture references - read them and consider them:

Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.  And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’  Mark 12:29-30 and Deuteronomy 6:4-5

My son, give attention to my words; . . .
Keep them in the midst of your heart; . . . Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.  Proverbs 4:20-23

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove [for yourself] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.  Romans 12:1-2

Proverbs 4:23 says, "Above all things guard your heart, for from it spring the issues of life."

But my righteous one shall live by faith; and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him. . . . Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen . . . by faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. . . . without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.   Hebrews 10:38-11:3, 6

. . . ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  Let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.   James 1:6-8  (read 1:2-8)

These are pretty strong words!  And they are laid out very clearly; no confusion or double meanings.  God’s will for you is in His Word!

Do not compare the Word with the world as a measure to see what is valid; rather compare the world against the higher standard of the Word and follow the instructions of  2 Corinthians 10:4-8, i.e. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Deut 30:15-20:  “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.  I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days."

Exodus 15:26  If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

Psalm 103:3  Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

In western societies many have begun to compare the Word with the world and to tweak the Word to fit what we see in our lives so we can make sense of it - seems reasonable doesn't it? (It's not.)  Have you heard, "If it seems to good to be true it means that it most likely isn't."  How about, "If you pray for God to heal you and you don't see that healing, then it just means that . . .

* God wants to teach you something through your sickness.

* God may want to use doctors to heal you.

* you need to realize that everyone gets sick and when we get to heaven then we will be healed.

. . . and yet the Bible does not support these conclusions.

What God has to offer us DOES sound too good to be true, and yet it is Truth!

He forgives our sins and heals our diseases!

He takes our place of condemnation and suffers the punishment for us!

The clues are that we need to:

* renew our minds - take on a new way of thinking

* guard our hearts - deal with the issues in them versus stuffing them

* confess our weaknesses and downfalls

* believe what He says when we don't see it . . . until we do see it

* choose to think on what He instructs us to think on

* walk by faith because that is the ONLY way to take hold of the rest

LRMT (LifeRegeneration Meridian Techniques) gives us tools to be able to do all of the above. . . . and these tools when filtered through scripture stand, and help us to stand.

At LifeRegeneration we train and enable you to begin to choose health, choose peace, choose infinite possibilities, choose abundance, and above all choose life!

Mind Over

The following challenge will help you to rethink your thinking.

You will probably recognize the verses that Jesus gave to us dealing with the very thoughts of man.

"when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts?" (Luke 5:22)

"Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?" (Matthew 9:4)

And the Apostle Paul makes it clear to us that we need to deal with how we think:

" For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled."  (2nd Corinthians 10:4-6)

We are instructed very clearly how God wants us to adjust our thinking and thus our perception of things in life:

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things." (Philippians 4:8)

We will soon have some great Bible studies that will stretch your mind and hopefully correct thoughts that are not in line with God's Word.

Believe me, you will find these extremely interesting, thought provoking, and mind changing!

comments of

GOD . . . from past  . . .

that affect your future!

Dr. Oliver Wendell Holmes said

It would be beneficial to look at both the orthodox and the "unorthodox" in living our lives.  We too often accept what we have been raised to believe and it often blinds us to what God's Word says to believe.  Just think of the following phrases:

  • Lay hands on the sick and they WILL be healed.

  • The man was taken up and moved to another place.

  • A piece of clothing was touched and energy moved.

  • There were monsters in the land.

  • The daughters of men and the sons of angels . . .

  • The tribe had hands with six fingers.

The odd-ball heresy of today has the habit of becoming the conservatism of tomorrow.  We would do well to do three things:  1) Do not act merely on what seems reasonable in our society, 2) Filter all of what we do through the expanse of Scripture, and 3) Listen to the Holy Spirit - He is in you to guide, direct, protect, and train you.

I have too often heard Christians says things like, "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably isn't," and You need to use common sense before you act."

In the world the "too good to be true," admonition is often good for keeping us from getting into a "deal" that is only going to fail.  However, in God's economy, "too good to be true," is placed in the arena of the impossible and when we are choosing to believe what God says, then this simply does not apply.  So . . . maybe we should filter our "too good to be true"s through God's Word, prayer, and walking by faith?

In the area of healing and health common sense is often what we have been told by our doctors and nurses, who were taught in institutions that are supported by pharmaceutical companies.  Not all that they are taught is wrong, but they are not taught to do what God advocates for healing - think about it!

We would do well to broaden our options to include holistic technology and return to treating the patient as a whole man and find the etiology of conditions versus merely treating symptoms.  At LifeRegeneration we have found that the etiology of many issues (even physical maladies) is found in things God tells us to deal with instead of just pushing drugs at symptoms.

Holistic medicine is known as an approach to life and health that brings together the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of a person in order to create a total sense of well-being.

At LifeRegeneration our specialty is in finding the balance that God built into us for the best in every area of who we are.  We may touch very lightly on nutrition, music, news, exercise, and other arena, but we will often point you to experts in those areas while we focus on the balance needed in your whole being.  This will often then enable your efforts in those other areas to become successful.
