Jubilee Options App
Balance your whole being - and change your life!
body, spirit, and soul (mind & heart)

REMEMBER:
The above charts are to pin down specific areas of the skin, but this is most often not necessary in order to deal with a skin issues. Your body knows where the problem is and simple kinesiology/muscle testing will tell your mind whether you need those details or not. Ask at each level and don't go deeper than the level needed to release the issue and allow the body to heal it.
Find the root issue connected to the area you are dealing with (i.e. the trapped emotion you need to release) AND note the area of the skin issue you are dealing with. WRITE BOTH of these down and rate them separately. Then do the rounds of tapping you have learned.
ONE EXAMPLE: Skin on forearm - anxiety, fear, old, threatened, or unsafe. Write "skin on forearm" on one line of your notebook and the emotion on a separate line with 3 empty lines between them.
1. Rate the severity of the issue for each - body area and emotion
2. Do a round of tapping, remembering that focus is prime here.
3. Practice your deep breathing - 4 in and 6 out
4. Drink water
5. Repeat until your ratings are down to a 0 or 1, then move to next issue or trapped emotion related to this issue.
REMEMBER, if dealing with a trapped emotion, you will want to follow clearing that by replacing it with a jubilee option to completely cover what your body, soul, and spirit need for health and wholeness.
Skin / Epidermis in Detail:
The epidermis is the outermost, thinnest layer of skin, serving as the body's primary barrier against pathogens, UV radiation, and water loss. Composed primarily of keratinocytes, it renews every 30-40 days by producing new cells in its deepest layer, which then migrate upward, flatten, and die, forming a protective, waterproof barrier at the surface.
Layers of the Epidermis (Deep to Superficial):
The epidermis is structured into four to five distinct layers (strata), depending on whether it is "thick skin" (palms/soles) or "thin skin" (rest of the body):
-
Stratum Basale (Basal Layer): The deepest, single layer of cuboidal cells attached to the dermis. It consists of stem cells that constantly divide to produce new keratinocytes. Melanocytes (pigment cells) are also found here.
-
Stratum Spinosum (Spiny Layer): Several layers thick (8–10), these keratinocytes are tightly bound by desmosomes, giving them a spiny appearance under a microscope. They start producing keratin proteins.
-
Stratum Granulosum (Granular Layer): Keratinocytes flatten, lose their nuclei, and become packed with granules that promote keratinization and cell death.
-
Stratum Lucidum (Clear Layer): A thin, clear layer of dead cells found only in the thick skin of the palms and soles.
-
Stratum Corneum (Horny Layer): The outermost layer, composed of 10 to 30 layers of dead, flat, keratin-filled cells (corneocytes). These protect against abrasions and water loss, and constantly shed (desquamation).
Key Cell Types:
-
Keratinocytes (90%): Produce keratin, providing structural strength and water resistance.
-
Melanocytes: Located in the stratum basale, these produce melanin to protect against UV radiation and determine skin color.
-
Langerhans Cells: Part of the immune system, acting as the first line of defense against antigens.
-
Merkel Cells: Specialized sensory mechanoreceptors for light touch.
Functions
-
Protection: Shields body from UV damage, pathogens, pathogens, chemicals, and mechanical injury.
-
Barrier and Hydration: Maintains hydration by holding in water and preventing, and prevents dehydration.
-
Skin Color: Produces melanin, which pigments the skin and filters UV light.
-
Renewal: Constantly replaces dead cells (approx. 40,000 daily) with new ones, ensuring the barrier remains intact.
