Now you know you can resist the enemy, Satan, but you need to understand how to do that.

To deal with The Enemy:

​

You will want to take advantage of all God gives you for this by doing the following: 

 

  • Definitely read your Bible and ask God to show you what the verses mean and what they mean for you!  

  • Pray and ask God to help you in this - the Holy Spirit is right with you IF you are a Christian - He will be your right-hand warrior.

  • Equip yourself for spiritual warfare with spiritual weapons - 2nd Cor. 10:4-5 

  • Pray in the Spirit!  i.e. listen to the Holy Spirit and let Him pray through you.  

  • Don't be controlled by what you see - i.e. Deut. 20:1 translated to modern day - "When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see, . . ." lies, division, hate, controlling entities, bad news reports, your failing health, fear and more, ". . . and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid . . . for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from . . ." despair, fear, anxiety, hate, and more.   I.E.  God is with you fighting with you, for you, and in you!

  • Use the armor of God - Ephesians 6:10-18

  • Take a "walk" with God and listen to the Holy Spirit, then DO what He says because you love Him.  Don't stress, He will give you step-by-step directions that you CAN do.  

  • When needed, speak out loud to the enemy - Satan - and tell him to flee. 
    James 4:1-10​    ​

  • Choose a Jubilee Option and repeat the procedure until the intensity comes up to a 9 or 10.

  • 2nd Corinthians 10:3-5 - "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

  • 2nd Corinthians 6:4-10 - "Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way; in great endurance, in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything."

  • Ephesians 6:12 - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

  • 1st Timothy 18-19 - "This charge I commit to you, . . . that you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, . . . whom I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.

  • Principles Governing Warfare:  "When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous that you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt (slavery and despair).  Deuteronomy 20:1

  • 1st Peter 5:6-11 - "Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walk about like a roaring lion, seeing whom he may devour.  Resist him, steadfast in the faith, . . . may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."
